Hyundai Cebu Inc. (HCI) was one of the pioneer dealers appointed by Hyundai Asia Resource Inc (HARI) on December 2001, authorized to offer brand new Hyundai products and services to the Central Visayas region.

Founded by the late, Eduardo T. Onglatco, a respected figure in the local automotive industry because of his vast experience spanning 20 years in propagating brands like Ford in 1980’s, Mazda and Hyundai in the 1990’s throughout the Cebu region through the Cebuano Motors Corporation.

HCI worked hard to gain acceptance in the market during its first year of operation competing with the presence of the gray market dealers. HCI succeeded in gaining the trust of its clients by offering superior products and services with emphasis on total customer satisfaction. It generated high percentage in repeat or loyalty sales. On April 2003, HCI was awarded by HARI its second dealership, Hyundai Cagayan de Oro Inc (HCO) to cover the Northern Mindanao region.

Currently, both HCI & HCO are managed and operated by dynamic and aggressive leaders and managers whose vision is to become the customers’ preferred choice in the automotive community.
